Checkpoint!
So, I've finished "checkpoints" in the game.
It looks very smooth, hehe, my game is gonna be as smooth as possible.
I've made checkpoints, because when I play other games, I always HATE that you got to redo big parts of a level becaue you died once.
These checkpoints give the chance or the player to die atleast once for free ^^
Anyway, this is the idea
A flag is a checkpoint, when you walk through it, the flag raises, and a text poppes up which says: "Checkpoint!". So, when the flag is raised, you have set your checkpoint there.
If you die, you will respawn at that flag again.
Though, this time, the top of the flag thingy is red, this means, you already used your checkpoint.
So, if you die again, you will get the usual menu in the screen, which lets you restart the game, or go to the menu.
Since I haven't made the menu yet, it quits the game.
Also, the file size goes up incredible fast. It is 372 KB already, and I only have a small amount of objects/tiles, no menu, and no music.
I think the size is gonna be a problem (since when you make a .exe, around 2.3MB will come extra, and the max amount of MB was 8 I think.)
I keep you posted!

Yes!ExWhyZed wrote:No, it won't be. An empty GMK is ~200kb... Will you want me to write music for you?
But it really sucks you can't do guitar...
Uuhm, could you make me a funny tune?
And some cool exciting distortion guitar tune.
(for equiping gun)
They need to be small loops, max 30 sec.
MY ADVICE: The restart/menu option screen lettering/font doesn't fit the rest of the style.
I don't know if that is temporary or not, but I would go for a more cartoon-ish font.

It's temporally.
In the "gun" blog you will see in the left top corner the font I will use in this game.
