What ya tink of me water mon?
This is just a test,
myself I don't like it, but don't really know a better way, to make it look nicer.
But what do you think of this water?
19:21 UPDATE:
Alright, so I didn't quite like it.
It was too messed up.
Also, I used 2 different layers. This ain't nice.
So, this time I added some different tiles to the water (the sides)
and only did the front layer. What do you think?
I think I wait for some more tips, and will probably edit it one more time...

I like it mon a bit , I do. However, I think it might be better to
a) I would like to see it evenly fill the blocks (not spill off the sides)
b) "richer" water... this just looks...flat, somehow.

I would make it when you enter the water a splash appears. Kind of like Medievil's water effects.

What the water effects in medievil? Medievil, if you enter small water you can walk in it, but lakes and stuff you drown in (Which makes sence cause you need fat to swim (Which is the main reason monkeys can't swim, because monkeys are about 90% muscle), and you are a skeleton, so how would you be able to swim, so it does make sence that you can't swim in medievil, but you can still walk in small amounts of water in medievil)
Naah it doesn't look sweet at all...
- It doesn't full fill the grass
- It's spilled off sides like George said. This is almost impossible to fix.
I think I just dont do it xD

What splashes don't look sweet. Ok, also I bet none of you thought you would learn anything from me. Like above about monkeys and why they can't swim and stuff.
No, the current water.
But I am still changing it a bit... No worries.

Monkeys usually drown. They can't keep themselves up on the water's surface. Also does Skipper blink?
Umm...I know it might be tedious, but I think you COULD do one of two things:
1) Have 3 water tiles, one for each side (to fit the walls) and one for the middle tiles.
2)Put the water tiles EVERYWHERE in the level (you know, make it look like a river flowing next to all the ground tiles? Am I being clear?
Also, in that picture, you left off a tile of water near the under-water platform...I think it doesn't look that nice, and that you should cover it up. Just my opinion though..

I tried making the sides less depth.
But as you see, when you go close to a wall, it looks weird.
This same problem will you have with your option #1 George.
And I won't do #2 cuz I just want small waters, for fun.

With your wall glitch, put on the Skipper object for when he comes in collision with that wall
x=xprevious
y=yprevious
Try that. It might fix the problem.
Devil, that's not a glitch. Kyon knows about those functions. The problem is depth, as he already mentioned.
And you call yourself smart.
I know that sounds harsh, but really, I know you were just trying to help.

George, and you call yourself nice
And if it is a problem of depth put this in the create section of wall or in the Skipper object:
depth-=y+x
And also here is what I said before, because you can't see it because this is on page 2:
With your wall glitch, put on the Skipper object for when he comes in collision with that wall
x=xprevious
y=yprevious
Try that. It might fix the problem.
Oh Geogre, my x=xprevious stuff would work too because then he would, ah I will not explain it to those lacking in intelligence, such as yourself.
Also Kyon, your 19:21 UPDATE looks weird with the water. The water shouldn't be over the walls, it should touch the walls but not overlap it, and in the water in the 19:21 UPDATE Picture, the corner of grass inside the water looks funky cause half of it is submerged in water and the other half isn't.
A) I was kidding!
B)KYON KNOWS!
C)I am the smartest!!!
D)We both agree with why the water looks weird.

I know you were kidding. If I thought you were serious I would have said something way worse.
AND I AM THE SMARTEST

Please read.
You know I can't read.
Kyon, he knows.
Devil, stop making Kyon feel like he isn't explaining well enough.
UGH!!!!

Yes Kyon I know what you mean. Also:
I AM THE MOST INTELLIGENT PERSON ON THIS FORUM (THOUGH TP09 IS ALMOST AS SMART AS ME, HE IS SECOND PLACE SMARTEST)
Plus Kyon I don't know if you say this but I will re-post it below:

1. Im gonna remove the water, it takes me too much designing time, and I only have 20 days left.
2. Please, stop spamming, everyone knows I'm smartest, and George is second.
3. My name is Kyon. =D
4. Size 50 doesn't exist.
5. The third point was useless
7. You didn't notice I skipped point 6.
