Equipment System
Yes, I sort of finished the equipment system, and it's awesome!
You can equip items, de-equip items, and even use the items like a weapon.
What I mean is, you can't use a stabbing skill without your weapon equipped
Anyway,
in the inventory you can right click on items to 'use' them.
Like a chest piece, it when you right click, or even double click on it (with left button) it will place the item on the "chest" slot of the equipment panel. And your character will also wear it, and animate with it etc.
This works perfectly
At the moment you can equip legs, chest and a weapon. I don't have made other items yet,
but will do in the future.
Here are some screens of how the system works!
Coming up: messagebox system

Yeah it runs very smoothly, no bugs found yet.
Smooth engines like this, hopefully makes the game better then the Beta.
Why not make the skills still available without a weapon, just with the fist? And have more skills with greater Dexterity, such as strangling, and breaking necks.
Hmmmmmm no.ExWhyZed wrote:Why not make the skills still available without a weapon, just with the fist? And have more skills with greater Dexterity, such as strangling, and breaking necks.
