Main Menu
What is a game, without a Main Menu?
I wanted a perfect, good looking Main Menu for my game, which was easy to use.
Hehe, I first tried a circular menu, I done his, but it wasn't perfect yet,
and it took up too much space.
So then I made a whole new concept.
It kinda looks like a basic menu, though, the sprites are very smooth!
After some basic concept art,
I started creating, and the result was awesome,
though, it ain't finished yet, I still need to make some things like:
- Locked buttons (requirements to open a tab)
- Explanations of how to use the menu
Anyway, here is a fast screen:
Note: The background is gonna change!
The picture above is how the worlds will look like.
They are basicly 4 levels, but I probably make a world have around 3 levels in it.
I still need to make that some things are locked, but for the most part, the menu screen works.
You can move to world 1 already, and when you press another option, I made a temporaly show_message
You can now also change the quality!
On some computers, the shadow beneath the player, and the lights will lag.
So if you reduce quality, the lights will be less (not gone) and the shadow gone.
Full screen also works now.

Aaaand it is 480x272 btw, though the screen is bigger, because he has dark outline.

Did you suddenly get good at computer art or something Kyon? Because it's weird how good you suddenly got at computer art.
Lol Kyon... Looks like your project is going a lot better than mine... I gave up... Because I got bored lol.

Depends on how violent the cartoon is. And how bloody. So if it is cartoon violence you would expect fighting but no blood. THat is pretty much what cartoon violence means.
I just made an enemy which you can shoot.
I make a blog tomorrow or the day after.
It looks cartoony, no blood, it looks quite funny.
You can compare it to how mario dies :Z
